Glenn Bowie, Chairman of the Board
 
Glenn is currently Area Director of Sales and Marketing for NewCastle Hotels and Resorts, with specific responsibilities for the Atlantic Canadian properties, currently The Westin Nova Scotian, Keltic Lodge Resort and Spa, Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa, Liscombe Lodge Golf Resort and Spa, Hampton Inn and Suites Dartmouth and The Residence Inn and Suites Moncton. Glenn and his teams are responsible for the sales, marketing, and advertising of these properties, with annual revenue expectations in excess of $35,000,000.

Glenn has an extensive resume in Towed Water sports, that includes roles as President of WSWC (2004-2010), Official and Chief of Competition as well as a competitor with 7 national championships to his credit.  Glenn is also a Level III certified coach, and has both coached and skied at the Canada Summer Games.

Sean Fleming, Wakeboard Representative
Sean is the Vice President of Metropia, a privately held real estate development company based in Toronto.  Over the past 12 years, Sean has held various senior roles within the Real Estate Development industry with a focus on Finance, Acquisitions, and Operations.  Sean has an MBA from the Schulich School of Business, with majors in both Corporate Finance and Real Estate.  To date, Sean has been involved in over 25 residential and mixed-use projects with over 10,000 units and has arranged over $1B of project financing.  

Before his current occupation, Sean was a competitive wakeboarder competing on the Pro Tour and in Canada for many years, his competitive wakeboard career was highlighted with a Junior Mens National title in 1996 and a fourth place finish at the Vans Triple Crown in 1997.  Sean has been involved in the organizational side of Wakeboarding since retiring as a competitor heading up numerous wakeboard schools, camps and competitions, from grassroots events to National Championships.  Sean has served as the chairperson of the Wakeboard Committee and the Wakeboard Rep on the Waterski Wakeboard Canada board for the past 5 years.

Steve Jarrett, Director
Steve is founder and president of Toronto based SBC Media Group, one of North America's leading action sports content publishers, including the following magazines and related websites: SBC Wakeboard, Snowboard Canada, SBC Skateboard, SBC Skier, SBC Kiteboard, Windsport, SBC Ski & Snowboard Resort Guide, Snowboard Canada Women's Annual, and SBC Business - Action Sports.

Steve is also the founder and co-producer of the Wakestock World Series one of the world's foremost wakeboarding events (wakeboard, wakeskate, wake park, wakesurf).A longtime sports advocate, Steve has played a prominent role in the development of wakeboarding, snowboarding, skateboarding and windsurfing in Canada, including establishment of Canada's first national pro-am snowboard series for slopestyle and halfpipe, working with the International Snowboard Federation to create the first Snowboard World Series and serving on the Canadian Yachting Association Board of Directors during windsurfing’s inception into the Olympics.More recently Steve played a prominent role in the development of Eastern Canada's largest skateboard park, the Beach Skatepark in Toronto; and the creation of the new industry-owned Toronto Snow Show, North America’s largest ski and snowboard consumer show. Steve has been a member of the WSWC Board and advisor to the Wake Committee since 2011.

 
Jaret Llewellyn, Athlete Representative
Raised in the small town of Innisfail, AB, Jaret, along with his brother Kreg, burst on the international scene in the 80’s, making his first Jr World Championship team at the age of 14.   During his incredibly successful 31 year international career,  Jaret has become one of the most decorated skiers in the history of the sport. With 117 professional wins, 11 World Records, 9 Individual World titles, 8 Gold & 2 Silver Medals Pan American Games, 22 Gold Medals at Pan American Championships, and 6 Time World Team Member, ('87, '88, '91, '93, '99, ’09)  Two highlights in this extensive list of accomplishments is being named the Canadian Flag Bearer at 2003 Pan American Games (Santo Domingo) and 2 time entry into the Guinness Book of Worlds Records.

Jaret has been involved in every aspect of the National Team including Athlete, Coach, Judge, Committee Member (High-Performance Committee) and as Athlete Rep on the Canada Olympic Committee. Jaret sits on the non-profit Board of koreyskrew.com, and is also actively involved with www.codysangels.com, www.inhiswakes.com.  He has coached his wife, former World Champion Britta Grebe Llewellyn and is now showing his son, Dorien, how to follow in his famous family’s footsteps.In his free time, Jaret loves coaching kids and play ice hockey every chance he can.www.JaretLlewellyn.com

Karen McClintock, Director
Karen’s involvement with Water Ski Wakeboard Canada began in 1989, following her Master’s degree in Sport Psychology and 10 years as a Nationally ranked Heptathlete , when she started as Program Coordinator at the National Office in Ottawa.  After one quick year and a very steep learning curve, Karen took over the title of Technical Director and was in the position for 5 years.   Responsible for working with the High Performance, Coaching, Officials, Technical and Domestic Development Committees, all office related tasks related to National and International Competitions, management of competitive results and publishing of former Ski Nautique News, attained a Level 3 in both Coaching certification and Officiating, among other duties.

Upon leaving Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada as an employee, Karen continued as a volunteer, sitting on the National Events Committee and Coaching Committee.  In addition, Karen was the Ontario Team Manager at the 1997 Canada Summer Games.  Karen has had the privilege of attending 20 National Championships and 5 World Championships as staff, a volunteer, a partner (supporting husband Jim McClintock), an aunt (Jason and Whitney McClintock) and as a parent (Jonah Shaffer).

Karen has been a Canadian Jewellery Designer from 2005 and currently designs pieces for Prime Minister Harper & Mrs. Harper for international gifts, attended the 2012 Academy Awards Gift Lounge as a Designer and designed for Holt Renfrew for 11 seasons.

Karen and Jim have also had the enjoyment of supporting Karen’s daughter, Rebecca Shaffer, as she achieved the title of World World Karate and Kickboxing Champion 5 times.

Jo-Anne Moore, Director 
 
Jo-Anne Moore has served the sport in virtually every way imaginable. Starting out with her achievement of becoming a Level III judge in 1995 and then a Pan Am judge in 2003, Jo-Anne has been involved in every element of our sport.  Jo-Anne's service as a leader started in 1998 as the Northern Representative with Water Ski and Wakeboard Alberta and has continued as she has been a member of Team Canada at several Water Ski events, holds the Women's 4 Canadian record in Jump, and has been an official and Chief of Competition at every major competition in Canada.  Jo-Anne has also officiated at two World Junior Championships, a Pan Am Water Ski Championship and at the 2013 World Water Ski Championships. At the WSWC level, Jo-Anne has served on the WSWC Board in various roles beginning in 2003.  Jo-Anne, in her roles on the Water Ski Technical Committee has been instrumental in the development of the officials education programs as well. Kevin Neveu, Director
Kevin is President and Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Precision Drilling Corporation and has held these positions since joining the company in 2007. Kevin has 33 years of experience in the oilfield services sector holding technical, marketing, management and senior leadership positions over his career. Previously, Kevin was President of the Rig Solutions Group of National Oilwell Varco in Houston and held senior management positions with it and its predecessor companies in London, Moscow, Houston, Edmonton and Calgary.
Kevin currently serves as a Director of Bonanza Creek Energy and Finning International and is a former board member of Rig Net.  He is also a member of the Advisory Board for The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, a Director for a Canadian national sports non-profit organization, and an Advisor for the University of Calgary's School of Public Policy. Kevin is a director and member of the Executive Committee for the International Association of Drilling Contractors.
Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree and is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Alberta and is a Professional Engineer, he has also completed the Harvard Advanced Management Program in Boston, Massachusetts.

Peter Peebles, PSO Representative
Peter has been active in the competitive waterski scene since the late 80's. As a volunteer, he has fulfilled various roles including Waterski Wakeboard Alberta Provincial President, National Waterski Committee Member, and been a member of several National event organizing committees including the Calgary Pro Shoot Out.  On the water, Peter represented Canada at the 2014 Pan American Championships, 2014 Over 35 World Waterski Championships, and is a former National Champion. Peter is a Second Class Power Engineer currently employed in the petro chemical industry.

Peter Person, Director

Peter is a Professional Engineer (Electrical) specializing in data network communications. He has spent 25 years in the telecommunications industry, and currently works in Information Technology networking within Health Care.

Peter has been involved in organized water skiing, at every level, for over thirty years. He has served on the Board of Directors of Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada for the past seven years, having previously served as WSWC’s President for nine years. He is currently the President of the Pan American Water Ski Confederation (IWWF) and is a member of the IWWF Executive board.

Peter’s sport involvement also includes serving on the International Water Ski and Wakeboard Federation’s World Tournament Council (fifteen years) as well as on Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada’s Technical and Official’s Committees (now Water Ski Committee).

Inducted to the WSWC Hall of Fame as a Builder, Peter remains active as an international judge and athlete. He has been appointed to judge five World Championships, four Pan-American Games, the US Masters, and numerous other international and professional water ski events. As a competitive water skier he has competed both nationally and internationally, earning Canadian Record and Canadian Championship Titles.
