Having started skiing at only 18 months old, and competing for the first time at the age of 8, it is no wonder why Paige is already a water ski superstar. She has accomplished many things in her early ski career, including being crowned the Canadian National Champion in every junior division she has ever skied in. Most recently in 2012, Paige became the Canadian National Girls 2 Slalom Record Holder. In 2012 she also earned the title of Canadian National Overall Champion. In addition to waterskiing, Paige enjoys yoga, soccer, working out, and swimming with her younger brother and sister at her dad’s ski lake. She hopes to continue to work hard both on and off the water in order to one day be crowned World Champion! Paige has a bright future ahead of her, with her achievements growing at each and every tournament!

Jonah Shaffer is a young Canadian water skier who has already been competing against some of the top professionals in the sport. Jonah began water skiing at the age of 7, and first competed at 12 years old. Jonah is a two-time Canadian Slalom Record Holder, in Boys 3 and Junior Men divisions, and a three-time Canadian Nationals Champion in Boys 2 Slalom, Boys 3 Slalom and Junior Men Slalom. In 2013 Jonah was the Junior US Masters Champion, the Junior US Open Champion, and placed 3rd at the Junior World Championships. Most recently Jonah was ranked 1st in the World during the U-18 Division for the 2013/2014 season. In addition to waterskiing, Jonah enjoys playing hockey and staying active. Jonah loves to travel the world and looks forward to continuing to do so while working hard to achieve his full potential as both a water skier and an athlete. Jonah is already on the path of success and is an athlete to watch out for as his career grows!

Guillaume Tetreault

Guillaume is an astonishing young water skier who has already seen great success in his early career. He began water skiing at the age of 3, and first competed at the age of 10. Most recently, Guillaume broke the longstanding U21 Canadian Trick Record with an outstanding score of 10,260 points. In 2014 he competed alongside Canadian National Team members in the Pan American Championships in Bogota, Columbia. At that competition he won 3 gold and 2 silver medals. When he isn’t on the water, Guillaume enjoys juggling, paddle boarding and spending time with friends and family. This year, at the U21 World Championships, he is striving for that top spot on the podium, and with the skills he has already shown on the main stage, he has proved he will be a tough competitor to beat. Guillaume’s hard work and dedication to his skiing are sure to see him to a long line of successes in his future.

Ryan is a world-renowned waterski champion with 20 Pro event wins under his belt. Having achieved 3 Pan American Games and Championship titles, 4 National titles, 2 Moomba Masters and 3 US Masters titles, Ryan Dodd has definitely proved himself as a top competitor on the water. He began to ski at 9 years old with his father Bruce Dodd, and fell in love with the sport. Bruce Dodd was so dedicated to his son’s future in the sport that he built their own private ski lake in their family’s cow pasture! As a 5 time Canadian Athlete of the Year for Water Ski and Wakeboard Canada, Ryan has proved himself as a valuable member of our National team. He is currently the Canadian National Jump record holder of 242 feet.
Ryan attended University of Louisiana at Monroe where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Management and Marketing. While attending ULM he became the captain of the ski team and went on to win two National Team titles, three National Collegiate titles and two Overall titles. Currently Ryan is a full time athlete and coach, focusing his attention on jumping now as his specialty.

Taryn Grant is a twenty-year-old professional water skier who has already accomplished so much. In 2010 Taryn placed 2nd in Jump at the Junior World Championships in Italy, and at the 2013 Under 21 World Championships she placed 2nd in Jump and 3rd in Slalom. Taryn has previously competed in the 2010 Pan Am Championships as a member of Team Canada where she placed 3rd in jump, 4th in slalom, 4th in overall and 2nd in team. To top off her list of accomplishments, she was named ‘WSWC Junior Skier of the Year’ in 2009, 2010 and 2012.
In addition to her growing water ski career, Taryn is currently attending the University of Lousiana at Lafayette. Not only is she majoring in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, but she is also a member of the schools Ragin’ Cajun Water Ski team.

Jaret Llewellyn

Decorated water skier Jaret Llewellyn began water skiing at the age of 6 and began competing at 9 years old. Since then he has found renowned success in the water ski world with an astonishing 117 professional wins, as well as 9 World titles, 22 Pan American Championship titles, and 10 Pan American Games titles. Jaret has held 11 World records, and is in the Guinness World Record Book for the World’s Longest Ski Fly Jump at 299 feet. If that distance doesn’t already amaze you, consider that it means he was only one foot shy of an entire football field!
Jaret’s greatest pride truly is his family. Along with his wife, Britta, they passed on their love of water skiing to their son Dorien, who is now a growing success himself within the ski community.
As the longest standing member of the current Canadian National Team, Jaret is an incredible water skier with a talent beyond words, and a worldwide ambassador of the sport.

Jason McClintock

Current Canadian Slalom Record co-holder, Jason McClintock was practically born into the sport, learning to ski at just 18 months old at his parent’s water ski school. At just 5 years old Jason competed in his first tournament, and by the time he was 8 years old he had competed in his first Canadian Nationals. He became a member of the National team in 2004 at the age of 17. Since then Jason has won many titles, including 3 Pan American Championship titles, 5 Pan American Games titles, 2 Pan Am Festival titles, and over 20 Canadian National 1st place titles. His most recent win was 1st place in Tricks at the Pan American Festival in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Having previously been a three-event skier, Jason retired from jumping after a nasty jump crash in March of 2007. This crash left him with a shattered left patella and a dislocated right subtalar joint. But this didn’t stop him completely; after a year off Jason entered the competitive field again focusing on his two most loved events – slalom and trick. In addition to his impressive water ski skills, Jason graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Sports and Fitness and also coaches at McClintock’s Ski School in Cambridge, Ontario, during the summer.
Jason is an incredible water skier with an inspiring passion for the sport. His future hopes are to break the Canadian National slalom and trick records and help take Canada to victory at the 2015 Toronto Pan American Games!

Whitney McClintock

Skiing since the age of two, Whitney is a four-time World Champion water skier and has an impressive 7 Pan Am Games medals (3 gold, 4 silver). Born in Cambridge, Ontario, Whitney was the youngest member of the Canadian National Water Ski Team in 2003 and is a two-time cover girl for the industry magazine ‘Waterski Magazine’. Whitney currently lives and trains in Orlando, Florida, with her coach Matt Rini.
In addition to following her passion for waterskiing, Whitney is a coach and personal trainer. While attending the University of Central Florida, she graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Fitness. Whitney believes strongly in the importance of physical fitness and works hard to motivate others to introduce fitness into their lives.
Whitney McClintock is a leading competitor within the Water Ski community. With an energetic personality and an unbelievable talent, it is no surprise that the she has already achieved so much in her career.

Neilly Ross

Neilly Ross is a 13-year-old trick prodigy. As the youngest skier to ever trick over 7000, 8000, and 9000 points, this rising star is already giving some of the top professional female trick skiers a run for their money. Neilly began water skiing under the instruction of her father, Drew Ross, at the age of only two years old. By 5 years old she was slalom skiing, and she began trick skiing at the age of 8. In such a short time Neilly has already accomplished so much. Most recently she was crowned the 2015 US Junior Masters trick champion, with a score that would have rivaled the pro women trick ski finalists. Prior to that she won 1st in tricks at the Junior US Open, and finished in 4th place at the US Open.
As the 2013 and 2014 Canadian National Open Trick Champion, Neilly is a young athlete with a great path of success ahead of her.
